we’re enthusiastic and honored to be hosting an evening with the world-renowned photographer and filmmaker ralph gibson. in the 1960s gibson began his career as an assistant to dorothea lange and worked with robert frank on two films. today gibson’s photographs are in over 150 museum collections around the world, including the whitney museum of american art and the museum of modern art (MoMA) in new york city, and have appeared in hundreds of exhibitions.
gibson will show highlights of his work, from the 1960s to today, and will discuss his personal history and approach to making photographs. the 1-hour presentation will be followed by q&a with the audience.
